Minister Derrick E. Tanyhill Jr was called into the gospel ministry at the age of 9 but began public speaking and preaching at the age 8. At the age of 16 he received his Ministerial License at The Pentecost Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church Syracuse, NY on March 7th, 2021 under the leadership of his father Pastor Derrick L. Tanyhill Sr. 

 

Since the start of his ministry Minister Tanyhill has served in many capacities in many different organizations and ministries such as 

• President of the Jr. Laymen’s Department of the Northeastern District Baptist Association, 

• Vice-President at Large of the Junior Laymen’s Department of the Empire Baptist Missionary Convention of N.Y. Inc. 

• The Northeast Regional Director of Youth and Young Adults for Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International, headquartered in St. Louis, MO,

• Youth Pastor Of The Pentecost Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church. 

• New York State Director of Music & Youth of The Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International 

• Adjutant General Bellegrove Victorious Life Ministries 

• Deputy Adjutant General for R. King Ministries Apostolic and Eccumenical Fellowship

• Youth Facilitator for Bellegrove Victorious Life Ministries

Minister Tanyhill is the Founder of Elias Lives Ministries established on December 5th,

2022. Elias Lives Ministries is a Youth and Young Adult Ministry organized to help youth and young adults in their spiritual walk with God. Elias Lives Ministries is blessed to be able to reach all generations. Through Elias Lives Ministries Minister Tanyhill hosts many events annually with the purpose of reviving the people and ignite the flame that has dimmed in their lives or ministries. 

 

Minister Tanyhill currently serves at the Bellegrove Victorious Life Ministries where Bishop Ray A. King and Overseer Yolanda L. King are the Servant Leaders. There Minister Tanyhill serves  faithfully on the Ministerial Staff & Music Ministry,

 

Minister Tanyhill has a true love for God and enjoys serving in the Kingdom. Minister Tanyhill is an anointed Preacher, Organist and Singer and is always willing to serve in whatever capacity necessary. When asked what scripture motivates him in his ministry, he is quick to quote Romans 12:2 and be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God
